Lori L. Peacock MSPT,
NSCA CPT, is a licensed physical therapist who is
also certified in personal training. Lori specializes
in manual therapies, including Active Release Techniques,
Myofascial Release, Craniosacral therapy, and acupressure
techniques. Her personal training background increases
her acumen for therapeutic exercises and work hardening
for all populations; including individuals with
neurological challenges or other health issues.
In addition to her formal physical
therapy training, Lori’s background of being an
equine trainer and riding instructor has enabled
her to develop extensive experience in observing
subtle differences in movement patterns and compensations
due to muscle imbalances in both the human and equine
populations. She has developed an extensive program,
for the human population, of specific exercises
built upon progressions, whereby, patients may gain
autonomy of their healing process to reestablish
tissue balance, thereby reducing symptoms. Lori
has been invited to teach at various seminars and
clinics focusing on balance and core strength.
Lori is also adept with the various
modalities used to facilitate tissue healing; including
low level laser therapy, ultra-sound, alpha sonic
therapies, and electrical therapies.
