Athletic Performance Enhancement
While there is no true lab based research to show athletes perform better; just look at our offices and talk to pro and Olympic athletes. It's hard to find an athlete who feels he/she doesn't perform better, and suffers fewer injuries when under the care of a good chiropractor. Just watch the entire video of Cole Hamels, who even mentions "the way you get better is to be on the field competing; chiropractic care allows me to be on the field, get injured less and that is when you learn". Success in so many sports is also related to an athletes mental state going into, and also while preparing, for an event. In their heart, an athlete knows if he/she has prepared at maximum level and worked as hard as possible. Spending time in a doctor's office treating injuries, takes away from their ability to train properly. If an athlete is thinking about an injury while racing, throwing, or competing in any way whatsoever, they are not concentrating on their game. This is not the way to win; chiropractic care and Active Release Technique allow athletes and patients to be physically and mentally ready for whatever the competition has to offer.
