America’s Workforce – Preventing Work Related Injuries
Many of our patients are surprised when they watch the video of Cole Hamels being treated by Dr. Tancredi, saying "that is the same treatment I get!" That is exactly what happens to each and every patient when they come to Tancredi Chiropractic and Physical Therapy. In fact, we feel it is just as important to prevent injuries in today's workforce, so people can care for their families. With today's economy and tough job market, very few people can afford to miss work. We don't have the salaries of professional athletes, so it is vital to be able to continue to work and not miss a single paycheck. From the self employed, to the line worker, to corporate managers to our most important asset in our society, our "homemakers", very few have the ability to slow down, much less stop working. The combination of chiropractic care, active release technique, passive modalities and finally aggressive rehabilitation to strengthening has proven to be incredibly effective. It can even be effective when only one of those methods have been attempted, simply because treatment is all encompassing. This means pain control, increased motion, proper strengthening, and releasing the patient with the "know how" to prevent future problems. If our care is not effective very quickly; then we'll refer you out to the proper medical doctor who can help you.
